Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Banner County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.

An email sent to us is retained so that we can respond. We keep the message within our organization and do not disclose it to an outside party unless the law requires that disclosure.

Banner County Criminal History does not build, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. Its general reference material points readers to Banner County record custodians, Nebraska trial courts, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information collected about a visitor is not compiled into a consumer report or a record about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search-box functions. Information submitted through one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy policy instead of this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices. Read the applicable provider policy before sending a query.
